1st Craft Week
In celebration of a century of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Japan, Les Benjamins has launched a special collaboration with artisans from both nations. This unique project brings together traditional craftsmanship through a collection of bespoke products, including indigo-dyed apparel, Japanese zori slippers, Leica camera accessories, and other items. These collaborations merge Turkish and Japanese artistry to symbolize the enduring connection between the two cultures.
Throughout September, Istanbul will host a series of events to commemorate this historic milestone, including workshops on Japanese and Turkish crafts, art exhibitions, and a collaborative dinner with Michelin-starred chefs from both countries. Exclusive products will be available for purchase during a two-day event at the Les Benjamins flagship store, starting 14th September.
With this project, Les Benjamins aims to not only honor the cultural ties of the past century but also inspire future generations and strengthen the bond between Türkiye and Japan for the next 100 years.
