Co-created by Bünyamin Aydın and Lamia Al-Otaishan Aydın in collaboration with adidas’ global design team, the Benji + Lamia x adidas Originals collection marks adidas Originals’ first Turkish local collection released globally.

The launch night took place at Esma Sultan Mansion in Istanbul, bringing together creatives, community members, and friends of the project for an evening shaped by craft, culture, and contemporary expression. The setting provided a fitting backdrop for a collection rooted in movement, memory, and cultural dialogue.

The event reflected the dual narratives behind the collection — Tokyo – Benji and Japan HI – Lamia — translating personal cultural references into a shared, immersive experience. From material details to spatial storytelling, the night echoed the collection’s core idea: tradition in motion.
