Les Benjamins, an Istanbul-based cultural and lifestyle brand, introduces Eastern Punk: Echoes of Punk in Istanbul, a short documentary exploring the city's unique punk culture from its 1970s origins to the vibrant youth scenes of today. Directed by a young creative trio, the film features interviews and concert footage of iconic bands and figures like Tünay Akdeniz, Radical Noise, Rashit, and Frozen Clouds, capturing the ethos and evolution of Istanbul’s punk community.

Accompanying the documentary, experimental sound artist Fosil creates a new sound piece inspired by the chaos and layered history of Istanbul. Additionally, a photography exhibition by Emre Gargu, showcasing the punk scene’s raw energy, will coincide with the documentary’s premiere at Kadıköy Sinema on November 21, 2024, with the exhibition running for one week at Bina Kadıköy.

Rooted in Les Benjamins’ mission to highlight Eastern cultural narratives, the documentary and its punk-inspired Fall Winter 2024 collection bridge tradition and rebellion, celebrating cross-cultural creative expression.
