Les Benjamins announces its latest collaboration with Babazula, one of Türkiye’s most iconic psychedelic Anatolian rock bands. The Les Benjamins x Babazula capsule collection draws inspiration from the personal styles and stage energy of the band’s founding members, Murat Ertel and Levent Akman, alongside Esma Ertel.

Shaped by an admiration for Babazula’s trance-like, ritualistic musical language, which blends traditional Anatolian instruments with electronic music and rock, the collection forms an organic connection with Les Benjamins’ design philosophy of bringing together East and West, tradition and modernity. Inspired by the band’s stage costumes, the silhouettes translate the cosmic and communal spirit of their music into wearable forms.

At the heart of the collection are asymmetric reversible kaftans, featuring contrasting patterns on the inside and outside. One version showcases a pink and green carpet-mandala digital print, while the other combines a black Hantaş carpet jacquard exterior with a red-orange kaleidoscope print on the inside. Both are finished with vibrant, multicolored fringes.

A Yin-Yang color-blocked hooded jacket stands out as one of the collection’s signature pieces, with a graphic language symbolizing balance and duality. A tie-dye workshop T-shirt and asymmetric-cut T-shirts are complemented by a fringed belt inspired by a guitar strap, while vibrant pink shalwar trousers create one of the collection’s boldest silhouettes.

Symmetrical carpet-mandala printed camp-collar shirts, finished with fringes, are offered in green and purple, while light-wash trousers with fringe detailing complete the everyday wardrobe.

The womenswear collection features a long skirt and blouse in Hantaş carpet jacquard, wide-leg trousers adorned with carpet-mandala prints and stone embellishments, and a long dress featuring a medallion-shaped metal accessory and stone detailing.

Illustrations of musical instruments, including the electric saz, darbuka, cymbals, spoons and tambourine, are applied to T-shirts using water-based printing and embroidery techniques, directly reflecting the collection’s musical roots. A co-branded “Les Benjamins BB Zula” woven label featured on every piece serves as the signature of the collaboration.
